Toronto loft
The desk sits right at the window, not in a setup corner.
Colin Smith's own loft in Toronto, seen from the mezzanine. The work desk sits at the floor-to-ceiling window, and the living area is a checkerboard rug with walnut cube stools around a low glass table, an olive velvet sectional and stacked glowing glass lamps. The workspace lives inside the room instead of in a separate corner.
